Putting on a pair of slippers is a very good remedy for stress.
Today, I will experience the good feelings of being in my
favorite slippers–relaxed, at ease, and comfortable.
When I am facing challenges, I will hear my slippers’
quiet voice call out, “Relax, be at ease, feel comfortable.”

During a near-death experience,
an angelic being of light said to a woman:
“Tell humans how much we appreciate what
they are doing, because it is hard to be human.”
Today, I will appreciate myself for how I cope with
being human. I will remember the words of the angelic
being and forgive myself for my human weaknesses.

Miracles occur everyday but we fail to notice them.
Today, I will be on the lookout for little miracles.
By looking carefully, I might discover a little
miracle in a playful moment with others,
in a caring connection with a friend,
or by watching the exuberant
joy of children. I will enjoy
this day by savoring
the little miracles.
